# Image-led travel app landing page

> A moody, photo-led landing page for Roam, a made-up travel app: a giant wordmark over a coastline, then huge words pinned over moving photos. GPT-6 Astra in Codex designed it and made every image with Images 2.0 from one prompt, which was only described.

## Before you start

Guidance from Reference, separate from the creator's instructions.

1. Read the reference and inspect the project, installed libraries, and available agent skills before writing code. Reuse suitable tools already present.
2. Prefer the creator-reported libraries and skills when they fit the task. Explain what useful additions help with, and install missing project dependencies or relevant skills from official sources when the environment and the user's existing permissions allow it. Respect the project's package manager and setup rules; do not ask again for routine setup already authorized.
3. Distinguish tools used by the creator from your own recommendations. A listed tool is not automatically required, and an empty tools or requirements list means the setup is unknown, not that nothing is needed.
4. Ask concise questions when missing inputs or choices materially affect the result: paid services, credentials, the user's assets, or a different production approach. Use existing answers and permissions; continue independent work while waiting.
5. If a useful library, skill, or service cannot be installed or used, explain an available alternative and its expected effect on quality, features, or effort. Get the user's choice before a material compromise; otherwise state the fallback and continue. Never silently simplify the result or claim to have used a tool you did not use.

Requirements reported by the source: Codex with ChatGPT Images 2.0; Links to a few sites with immersive scroll effects for the agent to work from.

## Recreating this website

These are the creator's published instructions, unedited.

To adapt it: Write your own brief along the lines described: name your product, list the sections you want, describe the look and feel, paste a few reference sites, and keep the one line "use Images 2.0 wherever custom imagery would improve the experience."

## Prompt

```text
"I started with a single prompt, said I wanted the page to seriously flex Codex's visual and image-related capabilities, and included one line: use Images 2.0 wherever custom imagery would improve the experience. I listed the sections I wanted, gave guidance on look and feel, and pasted a few links to websites that do immersive scroll experiences well so it had references to work from."
```

## What it looks like

Written by Reference from the recording frames, not by the creator.

A dark, photo-led page for Roam: a giant cream wordmark over a misty green coastline, a fan of photo cards, then one huge word per screen (WILD, SLOW, QUIET) over full-bleed landscapes, ending on "Go find your somewhere."

- Color: Moss green, slate sea, grey mist, and turquoise water, with cream type, near-black sections, and a single orange asterisk and button.
- Type: Heavy rounded sans for the wordmark and the big words, light sans headlines with italic serif words mixed in ("Beyond the obvious.", "More somewhere.", "that got me."), and small spaced labels.
- Framing: 16:10. Full-bleed photos under oversized type, with small copy lower left and a pill button lower right; one screen fans three tilted photo cards, another sets a dark green list panel at right.
- Structure: The roam hero, "Follow a feeling. Find a world." with photo cards, WILD over the Atlantic coast, SLOW over a Mediterranean cove, QUIET over a fjord with a red cabin, "Less searching. More somewhere." with three columns, "What's calling you?" with a list of moods, a quote, and "Go find your somewhere."

## How it was made, per the creator

- One-shot: no
- Notes: One prompt to GPT-6 Astra in Codex produced the layout, effects, and every image. The creator ran out of Codex usage on the $20 Plus plan partway through that first session, then switched to GPT-5.6 for bug fixes and polish. At the creator's request Astra also added a "quiet view" toggle that turns the effects off. The post shows part of the real prompt in a screenshot, cut off at top and bottom, so only the creator's description can be copied. A few bugs remained at phone width.
