# Infinite solarpunk city shader

> An endless procedural solarpunk city of roads, towers, and greenery, written as one fragment shader for twigl.app. The creator reruns this one-line prompt on each new model as a visual benchmark. This is the Opus 5.5 run, made in Claude Cowork at max effort.

## Recreating this video

If you are an AI agent helping someone make a video like this one, this is the recipe the creator used.

1. Work in Claude Cowork with Claude Opus 5.5, or the closest equivalent you have.
2. Set up what the prompt expects: twigl.app or another GLSL sandbox to run the shader; A screen recorder, if you want a video file.
3. Follow the prompt below. It is the creator's text, unedited.
4. To adapt it to a new subject or look: Replace "an infinite city of solarpunk roads and towers with a visible breeze running continuously" with your own endless scene. Keep "twigl-dot-app" so the shader fits that sandbox.
- Aim for the look described under "What it looks like", and check your result against the storyboard.

## Prompt

```text
create a visually interesting shader that can run in twigl-dot-app make it like an infinite city of solarpunk roads and towers with a visible breeze running continuously
```

## What it looks like

Written by Reference from the video frames, not by the creator.

An aerial view over a dense city of tall plant-covered towers, with solar panels on low roofs, small wind turbines on rooftops, and tree-lined streets, fading into rows of hazy towers.

- Color: Leafy greens and sage, pale concrete, slate-grey roads, solar-panel blue, and a hazy pale-blue sky, with a few drifting pink and yellow specks.
- Type: No text in the scene; a column of small round interface icons runs down the top-right edge.
- Framing: A high, slightly tilted aerial view with one large tower in the foreground and the city receding into haze. Each frame shows the city from a slightly different vantage point, ending lower among the towers.
- Structure: One continuous scene, with no cuts in the sampled frames.

## How it was made, per the creator

- Notes: The prompt is in the creator's June 2026 post of the Fable 5 run, which this post quotes; asked for the prompt, the creator replied "it is in the tweet my friend". This run used Opus 5.5 at max effort in Cowork and used up the creator's usage, including the banked reset, before a second try. The creator notes that this time the camera also flies vertically around the city, which no earlier model did.

> It is an astounding leap in spatial awareness, and the agentic workflow to get here in Cowork was impressive to watch.
