Shader universe grown from one typed word
A 97-second vertical capture of an interactive page: type a word and it seeds stars, a galaxy, a planet, and a live score whose key and melody come from that word. Opus 5.5 built it in one run from a brief that only asked for something people would call wow.
“Every frame and every note is generated by code, live, from the word you type.”
Build me something when people see it, they will say "Wow". Must be immersive, when people see it, they will be stunned by what they see. This can be a video, or anything else you can think of. Be creative. Go wild. Dig deep. No AI slop. Something unique, think outside of the box. Think big. Think amazing. Something no other model done before. Be proud. Show your best. Don't disappoint.
Make it yours. The brief names no subject or format, so add your own: keep "Build me something when people see it, they will say "Wow"" and the "No AI slop" line, and replace "This can be a video, or anything else you can think of" with the format you want.
You'll need
- A browser with WebGL to run the page, and a screen recorder to turn it into a video
How it was made
Posted as "Built by Opus 5.5 (Ultracode)", Claude Code's Ultracode mode. Asked how many runs it took, the creator answered "One". The brief left the medium open, so Opus made an interactive web page and the video is a capture of it. The creator's explanation: the typed word becomes a number that sets the music's key and melody, the shapes of the stars, galaxy, and planet, and the timing, so the same word always gives the same universe. Shaders compute every pixel, a post-processing pass adds bloom, glow, grain, and film-like color, and Web Audio synthesizes the synths, bells, and impacts live with no audio files. The live page bundles Three.js r186.

Look notesby Reference
A cosmic origin story on black for the typed word LIGHT: red filaments, violet nebulae, a web of glowing clusters, a galaxy, a ringed disc in dust clouds, and a planet's rim, framed by title cards.
- Color
- Deep black with ember red and orange, violet and lilac nebula wisps, gold-white star cores, rust-brown dust, and a thin orange-to-blue rim of light on the planet.
- Type
- A small italic serif line ("let there be", "and there was") above a heavy condensed sans word, LIGHT, whose letters are filled with gold marbling at the start and with a starfield at the end.
- Framing
- Vertical frames built around one bright core near the center: a star, a cluster, or a disc. The galaxy and the planet sit on tilted or low horizons, with star streaks across the dark.
- Structure
- Title card "let there be LIGHT", red filaments around a hot core, a violet nebula with the first stars, a web of galaxy clusters, a tilted galaxy disc with a red nebula, a ringed disc in brown dust clouds, a planet's curved horizon catching light, a galaxy flat on the horizon, then "and there was LIGHT".
