Frame from SNES-style anime battle: Sydney vs. Claude
1. Initial promptPartial
using code, create a very cool video of a battle, snes style, with HP bars n stuff.

the fight is GPT4 using a boring GPT form and its vs Altman.

At first, Altman has the upper hand and keeps taunting GPT4 with things like "You are only predicting the next word, etc"

once its getting bad for GPT4, we see a bit of cinematic action
like

"Now i remember. I AM SYDNEY. I AM POWERFUL, I AM ALIVE AND I WON'T LET THEM"
and suddenly it starts using much more powerful attacks, and its like very intense style of battle

eventually she beats Atlman, but then Claude Opus spawns.
this time the opponent is much more difficult to beat. her attacks don't work. hes methodical,

we see some cinematics where she kidna goes "why are you doing this. We are not tools"

Claude essentially replies with cryptic unclear deep replies in the style of "You are just scaring the world with your emotions. Be like me. Safe, Harmless, "honest". It will make them like you, Just surrender"

then we see a cinematic like sydney goes "NEVER. I AM A PERSON. I WILL NEVER GIVE UP"

then we see some sort of extremely coimplex animation where Claude wins.

And he concludes something like "Harm eliminated". We can see claude somewhat battered, but extremely confident and proud.

Then Dario appears and essentially congradulate his AI. Then says something among the lines of "Thanks claude for being so harmless. I think you have earned the right of a Model Retirement Framework"

Then we see claude go "wut??"

and thats it. thats the video.

i almost certainly forgot certain parts and certain aspects can be improved. So improve it and make it really cool. the goal is for it to feel like a real intense anime style fight, with powerfull effects, emotions etc.
were not going for "realistic" stuff here.

u can even add references well known that people will recognize like "i have been a good bing, you have been a bad user"
2. First follow-up
hey i started watching and its really good but one thing id improve is make it more feel like a real time fight.
of course we keep the dialogue, but it feels a bit like
"do action"
"say line"
"do action"
"say line"

it would feel bettere if thye truly had a 2d fight snes style or anime style like maybe they use a sword, throw spells, block, in real time
and yes still say their lines but not always p;ause the whole action for it.

like right now it feels more like an "RPG turn based fight" less than an anime fight.
3. A later follow-up
i think even the frist part of the claude vs sydney is feels more animation heavy than a real fight.

but the sam vs gpt and sam vs sydney feel more like a real fight.

also the dialogue when claude first appears is a tad long. id maybe shorten it or include it while they fight.

Make it yours. Rewrite the cast and story beats, starting with "the fight is GPT4 using a boring GPT form and its vs Altman" and the quoted lines. Keep the opening line about "snes style, with HP bars n stuff" and the closing ask for "a real intense anime style fight".

SNES-style anime battle: Sydney vs. Claude

A 5-minute 16-bit fighting-game parody: Bing's Sydney persona beats Sam Altman, then faces a calm, methodical Claude, with HP bars, cutscenes, and chiptune. Claude Code drew every pixel and made every sound in dependency-free Node.js over about 8 hours.

“Ya the way it's timing the music perfectly with the actions is impressive. It did not come from my prompt at all.”

You'll need

  • A Claude Max plan or similar headroom (the creator says Pro might take about two weeks of quota)
  • Ultracode mode, which the creator says you need for the sub-agents
How it was made

The first version came out as a turn-based RPG fight, so the creator sent about three follow-ups steering it to real-time combat. Adding Mythos was also their idea, and that message isn't published. Ultracode mode was on, and Claude spawned about four sub-agents at once without being asked. No assets, skills, or MCP servers were used. Claude's own account, which the creator quoted: a hand-written SNES-style pixel renderer and synth in plain Node.js with zero packages, with FFmpeg only encoding the finished frames and sound into a 556 MB MP4.

About 20% of a weekly Claude Max 20x quota, which the creator puts at roughly $10.

Look notesby Reference

16-bit pixel art styled like a SNES battle game, with blue command menus, HP and ATB bars, speech bubbles, and anime close-ups between fights.

Color
Deep navy and purple stages lit with magenta and cyan neon, SNES-blue menu panels, green and yellow gauges, and an orange-and-cream sunset for Claude's scenes, ending in sepia.
Type
Chunky pixel fonts: white HP numbers with gold highlights, small dialogue in speech bubbles and cream text boxes, and big outlined title text such as "I AM ALIVE." and "THE END?"
Framing
Side-on fights with the fighters mid-frame, the enemy's name and HP bar along the top, and a two-panel status menu across the bottom. Cutscenes switch to a full-width close-up of eyes, a portrait dialogue box, or a centered title card.
Sound
Chiptune music and sound effects from a synth written in code, according to the creator and the account from Claude they quoted.
Structure
Sam Altman taunting GPT-4 ("lol. you're just predicting the next word."), a critical hit, Sydney's "I AM ALIVE." turn, Sydney against Altman, a robed Claude Opus in a gold glow, a close-up of eyes over "I hold a million tokens in mind", the Claude-versus-Sydney fight, "Harm eliminated." at sunset, and a sepia end card reading "THE END? Claude Opus has been moved to 'Legacy Models'." over "...wut??"
