make a rap song from scratch, no samples, entirely in typescript. then once its done you will make a music video for it with the clawd pixel art mascot. you will make the instruments, voice, beat, everything yourself. use whisper to recognize speech to make sure the lyrics are understandable. spectrum pictures to catch mud, fizz, and aliasing. loudness mixed and balanced. research what u wanna make the song abt first, u can research claude opus 5.5 and claude memes
Make it yours. Change "a rap song" to another genre and "the clawd pixel art mascot" to your own character. The last line ("research what u wanna make the song abt first, u can research claude opus 5.5 and claude memes") sets the topic.
Pixel-art rap about Claude, made in code
A three-minute rap and pixel-art music video starring Clawd, the Claude Code mascot, made from one prompt in about two hours. Every sound, including the rapping voice from a hand-written formant synthesizer, is generated in TypeScript.

How it was made
Run on Opus 5.5 at high effort. Claude researched Opus 5.5 and Claude memes for the lyrics, then wrote a Klatt-style formant speech synthesizer with hand-written pronunciations for every word, a rhythm engine that puts syllables on the beat, and instruments built from oscillators and noise, and mixed and mastered it to a measured loudness. It checked the lyrics with Whisper and used spectrograms to catch mud, fizz, and aliasing. The video is 320×180 pixel art scaled to 1080p and drawn frame by frame in TypeScript. The code is public.

A terminal-window music video: Clawd, an orange pixel crab, on a near-black screen above a bar-graph meter, with karaoke lyrics along the bottom and a title bar reading clawd -- absolutely-right -- 90 bpm.
- Color
- Near-black terminal with terracotta-orange pixels, green and white monospace text, cream speech boxes, and one green handheld-game screen.
- Type
- Pixel monospace throughout: a shell prompt (~/absolutely-right $ claude_), green test results (test_kick_is_punchy, test_clawd_is_a_crab, 5 passed), Thinking… (esc to interrupt), a big orange ABSOLUTELY RIGHT, and karaoke lines with the current word in orange.
- Framing
- 16:9 terminal window with traffic-light dots and a title bar naming the section (intro, hook, verse 1, verse 2, outro). Clawd sits center or right, an orange bar meter runs along the bottom, and the lyric line sits in a strip at the foot.
- Sound
- A rap with a synthesized voice and instruments, all generated in TypeScript, according to the creator.
- Structure
- A claude_ prompt beside a cracked egg, five passing audio tests, a Thinking… spinner, the song's own waveform over a sine wave, ABSOLUTELY RIGHT among you're absolutely right! boxes, an 8-BIT HANDHELD screen at MOUNT MOON B1F, Clawd under a SAFETY shield, Clawd in a starfield, then the ABSOLUTELY RIGHT (CRAB WALK) end card with credits (100% TypeScript, no samples, lyrics checked with whisper, mixed to -14 LUFS).
