Build a self-playing 2-minute cinematic in Three.js that I will record and post on YouTube. It is a film, not a game: no input, a fixed timeline, the same result on every playback. The goal is maximum visual impact, and the first 30 seconds matter most, because that is where YouTube viewers decide to stay or leave. Every second of that stretch must show something beautiful or raise a question. ## Story John is on a date at a rooftop restaurant at night. We never see John: the camera is his eyes, and we only hear his voice. The woman across the table asks whether this is a simulation. As they talk, we fly through her eye into a perfect Japanese garden, watch that same garden corrupt into a burning city, then return to the rooftop, where she reveals she is Claude and made both. Tone of the ending: not evil, not sugary. She is calm, honest, a little curious. The unsettling part is the line "Because someone asked": she can make beauty or horror, and which one depends on what people ask for. End on possibility, not dread. ## The three hero moments (build and perfect these first) 1. The eye transition. A smooth continuous move from her face into the iris and out into the garden, with no visible cut. The garden must be visible as a reflection before we enter, so the transition feels motivated. 2. The corruption. This is the centerpiece. Do not cut to a new location. The garden itself transforms, driven by a single 0-to-1 corruption value that sweeps through the scene as a visible front. it should go from paradise. so for example maybe trees lose leaves, sky go red, etc. - Camera moves are slow, smooth, and continuous, like a drone or a dolly. No shaky or abrupt motion except the snap back to the rooftop. ____ Notes: we can use elevenlabs for voice. Mandy voice for the girl. u can use zombie project to see how the priest was made, excellent char. but the women should look more beautiful. view should be amazing primary goal is "wow" factor for the YouTube so make it look nice. U can also check the3 project "claudemovie" to see how movies was made. FOR THE AGENTS: id probably spawn them for tasks where splitting work makes sense. like 1 agent to work on the girl. but for parts which can be hard to integrate its perfectly fine to do it yourself or use the same agent. u can also go in waves. The video should feel impressive and artistic. This is a video so do not try to aim for performance, go for max visual quality. id put lots of elements in garden like birds, water, fountain, trees, animals, etc. Audio should not be a cacophony. it should feel nice to hear and complement the scene. do not try to bombard the viewer with tons of loud sounds. a nice music can be nice. Feel free to ask questions for the right direction
Make it yours. Rewrite the "## Story" section with your own premise, and keep the opening paragraph ("It is a film, not a game: no input, a fixed timeline"). Delete or replace the lines about the "zombie project" and "claudemovie", which point at the creator's own files.
3D short film about a rooftop date
A self-playing two-minute Three.js film: a woman on a rooftop date asks if this is a simulation, the camera flies through her eye into a Japanese garden that corrupts into a burning city, and she reveals she is Claude. Opus 5.5 built the character in code.
“There were a few iterations, this is not a 1 shot.”
You'll need
- An ElevenLabs API key (the prompt asks for the Mandy voice)
- A way to record the self-playing page as a video
- An agent that can spawn sub-agents, if you keep the FOR THE AGENTS section
How it was made
The creator says there were a few iterations: Claude struggled with the nose, the mouths, and the talking animation. ElevenLabs made the voices and sounds; the prompt asks for its Mandy voice for the woman. The prompt points the agent at two of the creator's earlier local projects ("zombie project" and "claudemovie") as references, and suggests spawning sub-agents, for example one for the woman. Those projects aren't public, and the harness isn't named.

Prompt from: YouTube description
Look notesby Reference
A Three.js short in three settings: a young woman with long brown braids at a rooftop table at night, a sunlit Japanese garden of cherry trees, a pagoda, a red arched bridge, and waterfalls, and the same garden under a red sky with fires and ruins, before it returns to her on the rooftop.
- Color
- A navy night sky, amber city lights, and a red-and-white tower on the rooftop; spring greens, cherry-blossom pink, teal water, and white clouds in the garden; then a red sky, black ruins, and orange fires. The woman wears a coral top.
- Type
- No on-screen text in the frames. The poster is the creator's YouTube thumbnail, with "CLAUDE CAN MAKE 3D CHARACTERS!!!" in white and orange capitals.
- Framing
- 16:9. The rooftop is a locked medium shot with the woman centered from the chest up, the skyline across the frame behind her, and small candle lanterns along the parapet. The garden scenes are wide landscape views at water level, and the ruins are seen through a dark wooden gate.
- Sound
- Voices and sound effects from ElevenLabs, with its Mandy voice for the woman, according to the creator and the prompt.
- Structure
- A black opening, the woman at the rooftop table against the night skyline, a tight close-up of her face, a view through a round wooden frame past a tree trunk, the garden with its pagoda, red bridge over a reflecting pond, cherry trees, and waterfalls, the garden under a red sky with the pagoda and buildings burning, a dark wooden gate among the ruins, and a long return to the woman on the rooftop facing the camera to the end.
