You create the script, the assets, the animation, concept, everything. I have to go away from my computer so please work autonomously until done. Quality is paramount. Production value should be on professional level. One more thing: max OpenRouter spend is $10
Make it yours. Replace "Friendr.nl" (it appears twice) with your product, and rewrite the goal sentence "People should understand what Friendr.nl is for and after seeing the video will want to create an event to try it out." Keep the spend cap line.
Paper-collage explainer for an events app
A 51-second hand-drawn collage explainer for the creator's events app, Friendr.nl, made by reusing the purpose-of-life collage prompt. Claude Code worked unattended for 1.5 to 2 hours and spent about $4 on OpenRouter for art, voice, music, and reviews.
“It's not Pixar, but it's 100% usable as a real explainer.”
You'll need
- An OpenRouter API key in a .env file
- A product website with an FAQ for the agent to read
How it was made
The creator copied the earlier prompt almost word for word, gave Claude Code an OpenRouter key with a $10 cap, and walked away. Claude wrote the script, visited the website for reference screenshots, generated the collage art, voice-over, music, and sound effects, built a pure JavaScript canvas animation synced to each spoken word, had another model review its drafts, and rendered the MP4. The creator's OpenRouter screenshot lists Gemini 3.1 Pro, Nano Banana Pro, Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS, Lyria 3, and Whisper among the models used. A Dutch and an English version were made; the English one took about 30 more minutes.
About $4 on OpenRouter, most of it images and review passes, plus about 30% of a five-hour Claude session.

A paper-cutout explainer with a sticker-style character in a mustard sweater: a group chat buries the character in messages, then an event gets created, one link gets shared, and a traffic light turns green once enough friends join.
- Color
- Cream paper and pale sky-blue watercolour grounds, mustard yellow, teal, and orange, with white sticker outlines and strips of washi tape.
- Type
- Handwritten labels ("game", "group chat", "Signal", "min. 6 players"), clean sans-serif app text in English, a green rubber stamp "IT'S ON!", and a chunky multicolored Friendr wordmark.
- Framing
- The cutout character stands at the left of a wide frame while phones, chat bubbles, form cards, and props are taped up on the right; the end cards center the logo and taglines.
- Sound
- A voice-over from Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS, with music and sound effects also generated through OpenRouter, according to the creator.
- Structure
- The character with a phone and an empty friends chat, a storm of chat bubbles ("so is it Saturday or Sunday??"), a "What do you want to do?" event form, a link (friendr.nl/e/werewolves) sent to a group chat and Signal, a "Werewolf night" card with empty seats beside a traffic light, the seats filling under an "IT'S ON!" stamp with the light green, a collage of event ideas (drinks, movie night, padel, werewolves), and the end cards: "Create an event. Share one link. Done!" with a "Create your first event" button and friendr.nl.
