Frame from Netflix-style doc on superintelligence
PromptFull
here's what i want you to work on: a five minute explainer of super intelligence but for dummies... like you can choose who and what you want to do it but it's going to have to be a consistent character throughout and then make it feel like it's a whole high end real life video production. make it feel like it's a documentary on netflix with a charming attractive british female host who has a bunch of funny quips throughout. make her slightly acerbic but very smart. i want to see what you can do entirely on your own. you have the freedom to spend whatever credits you want on this in runway (i guess under say 25k) but make sure it's a consistent character throughout and visually it feels like top notch production. figure out whatever research you need to do to make this happen. do it in 16:9 and you can do it in 480p for now just to keep it cheaper, we can up-rez it later. ask me any questions you have but good googly moogly impress me sir

Make it yours. Change "super intelligence but for dummies" to your topic and "a charming attractive british female host who has a bunch of funny quips throughout" to your own presenter. Set your own credit cap in place of "under say 25k".

Netflix-style doc on superintelligence

A five-minute documentary explaining superintelligence for beginners, hosted by a consistent AI-generated British presenter. The creator's Claude Code agent researched, wrote, cast, generated, and edited it through Runway's MCP, with two rounds of notes.

“i had to do two small fixes (had a few flash frames and the graphics we positioned wrong) but that's it”

You'll need

  • A Runway account with credits, connected to Claude Code through Runway's MCP server
How it was made

Fig is the creator's personal Claude Code agent, which has been given a lot of personality and skills over time, so results may differ for others. Fig researched the topic, wrote the script, picked a host named Imogen, generated the shots through Runway (Seedance 2.5 for video, Nano Banana Pro for images, Lyria for music), and edited it together. The creator gave two rounds of notes to fix flash frames, glitchy shots, and misplaced graphics. The prompt asked for 480p; the creator later posted a 1080p upscale, which is the version that plays here.

About $125 in Runway credits, according to the creator's write-up a few days later. In a reply on the day, the creator estimated "prob like ten bucks in runway credits and like five percent of my weekly allotment for claude pro".

Look notesby Reference

A photoreal, presenter-led documentary. The same host, a woman with a dark bob in a camel coat, talks to camera by a river at dusk, in a wood-panelled library, in a server hall, and in a pub, intercut with close-ups and a gorilla in a forest.

Color
Warm amber lamplight and dark wood against blue-hour teal, a cold blue server hall, and deep forest greens, with the host's camel coat in almost every shot.
Type
A thin serif lower third with a gold rule ("Dr Imogen Ashby", "MATHEMATICIAN. PROFESSIONAL SCEPTIC.") and an italic serif dictionary card ("superintelligence", NOUN) quoting Nick Bostrom's Superintelligence (2014), set beside the host.
Framing
Mostly medium close-ups of the host to one side of a 16:9 frame with shallow depth of field, one wide shot of her walking down the library aisle, and full-frame inserts of a finger on an old keypad, the gorilla, and a lit bridge at night.
Sound
Music from Google's Lyria through Runway, according to the creator.
Structure
The host introduced by the river, a finger on keypad keys, the superintelligence definition card, the host in a library and then walking its aisle, a gorilla in the forest, the host among server racks, the host at a pub table with a pint, and a closing wide of a lit bridge in fog.
